Alexa & Spotify (for Multi-Room Music)
There are Alexa devices in the living room, sun room, kitchen, and gay bar. The Alex's have a dedicated Chestercuse Island premium Spotify subscription.
RECOMMENDATION!
Take an iPad and log into the Chestercuse Island Spotify account on the Spotify App. Perhaps this iPad is used by all members of your group to control the music while you are staying at the house so that only one person has to log out of their personal Spotify on one device???

IMPORTANT!
Please be sure to log out of the Chestercuse Island Spotify account when you leave. Music can only be played to one location at a time, so if you play music from this account at home, it cannot be used at the same time by people at the Cape house.

Accessing Your Personal Spotify Playlists on the Chestercuse Island Account
If you want to play playlists from your account in the house, you must first make the playlist public on your personal account, then log into the Chestercuse Island account, find your account, and add your now public playlist to the Chestercuse Island account.
Find your username
In the accounts section of Spotify, locate your username. Depending on when and how you created your Spotify account, this could look very normal (mine is: eckesm) or like a random string of letters and numbers (the Chestercuse Island username is: cgsbzgx879gk4k4lzkbro8cah)
Make your playlist public
In your personal account, open the playlist you want to share.
Click the three little dot icon.
Click the "Make Public" button.
From the Chestercuse Island account and find your personal profile
Log into the Chestercuse Island account.
In the search section, type (or paste) in your personal username.
Scroll down to the "Profiles" section and click on your account.
Click on the playlist you made public
Add to playlist
Click the three little dot icon.
Click Add to Your Library
Congratulations! You can now play your playlist throughout the house. You can also now command Alexa to play the playlist by name verbally.
Connecting via Bluetooth
If for any reason you would prefer to connect your phone to an individual Alexa device via bluetooth, just say to a device "Alexa, connect to phone" and follow the instructions for connecting your phone via Bluetooth.
So you fear for privacy... eh!?
If you want to ensure that Alexa is NOT listening, click the microphone mute button on the top of the device or devices that you want don't want to be listening.
Echo Plus
The one in the living room.
Echos
The ones in the sun room and gay bar.
Echo Show
The one in the kitchen.
If Alexa is not Responsive...
It's likely the last people in the house muted the Alexa's. Check to make sure that the Alexas' microphones are not muted.
